This doesn't have a happy ending for most.
Not recognizing that there will be downsides to child transgenderism is folly.
This video from CNN recently made the rounds in the news cycle about a family who says they are “fleeing” the state of Florida because of laws preventing transgender treatments for people under the age of 18. Why is this such a disaster for the family? They have a son who, once finding out what transgender meant when they were 11 years old, promptly announced he was a girl. Did the parents look into possible therapy options, or some other form of non-invasive treatment? Of course not. Immediately (from the story it appears) they started a regime of puberty-blockers and took a shopping trip to the mall for a new wardrobe for their new little ‘girl.’
The eventual fallout from this current transgender craze will be epic, and not in any good way for society. The human carnage and destruction in the not too distant future as these pitiful creatures realize what has been wrought on them is inevitable. It is very different to make life-altering decisions as an adult verses adolescents. How many of us knew, with any certainty, to be fully committed to something between the ages of 5-18 years old? Children constantly change sports, clothing styles, school interests, career ideas…yet we as a society are to believe they have the maturity and absolution to consent to a gender change? We don’t we allow minors to vote, or sign contracts but when it comes to body-altering that gets a pass?
Not Everyone’s Reality
More Realistic
Imagine only 10-15 years from now the flood of regret, despair and resentments that will have built up. Most are not going to find meaningful romantic partners or normal social relationships. All this anger will have to be released somewhere, somehow, and not in any healthy ways to be sure. One shudders at the idea of how many murder-suicides will be perpetrated against families who enabled this to happen. Or the rage against a society that they feel rejection from.
Of course, the major figures from the medical profession, as well as the charlatans in media and government who pulled the levers of influence will not face judgement for pushing this agenda.
It seems that, after the madeness abates, medical negligence liability will remain for doctors and hospitals and criminal charges against parents, doctors and hospitals for child abuse.
Go to it, lawyers!
